Music Teachers of Hyde Park is an alliance of independent private music teachers serving the Chicago neighborhoods of Hyde Park, Kenwood, South Shore, and Woodlawn. As a professional association, we emphasize camaraderie, collegiality, and collaboration.
We offer a range of programs to enhance our students’ opportunities to experience, learn, and create music.
Our dues-paying membership is as diverse as the communities we serve. We teach virtually all instruments and styles of music — from the piano to the oud and from opera to jazz. Consult our membership directory to find the private music teacher who is right for you.
Membership is open to anyone who teaches privately in Hyde Park, Kenwood, Woodlawn, and South Shore.
Annual dues are $53.
